Bert Getz, Jr., President

Mr. Getz has overseen all development at the prestigious Merit Club among other communities. He actively manages real estate and commercial investments for Globe Development Corporation, parent company of Merit Homes. Mr. Getz has a BS from SMU and an MBA from University of Michigan, and sits on numerous corporate and charitable boards including Children's Memorial Hospital, Wintrust, and the Board of Trustees of Brookfield Zoo.

William Sandberg, Vice President

Mr. Sandberg brings over 25 years of experience to overseeing almost every aspect of Merit Homes production and quality control. Formerly Senior Vice President for Shaw Homes, Inc., Mr. Sandberg has managed the creation of a number of luxury communities. He is a graduate of Harper College with an AAD in Architectural Technology.

Jeri Szatko, Director Sales and Marketing

Ms. Szatko has over two decades of sales expertise, topped by the Salesperson of the Year Award for the Greater Metropolitan Chicago Area. She combines a depth of sales management with exceptional customer service experience that is rare in the dual world of single-family home and home-site sales. She studied Business at University of Dubuque and also holds Certified Sales Professional and NAHB certifications.
